It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Peb Leej Niam Zoo Ker Vang Lor, a beloved mother, grandmother, and cherished member of our community. Ker was born on December 31, 1955, in Huameuang, Houaphan Province, Laos, the ninth child of Tongpao Vang and True Xiong.

Ker’s life was characterized by her generosity, unwavering faith, and extraordinary culinary skills, particularly her renowned rice dishes for special gatherings. Her ability to make everyone feel welcomed and loved left an indelible mark on all who knew her.

She is survived by her seven children (Chuefue, Kia, Sheng, Pheng, Herchafong, Jamie, and Jason), six children's spouses, and thirty-five grandchildren, who will continue to honor her legacy of resilience, love, and cultural pride. Ker will be fondly remembered by all whose lives she touched.

As we grieve her loss, we also celebrate the remarkable life of Ker Vang Lor. Her strength, kindness, and unwavering dedication to her family and community will forever inspire us.

Ker’s legacy of love and resilience will continue to live on in the hearts of her family and friends. She will be deeply missed and forever cherished.
