As John departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved John. Though John may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Sylvester Stiel and Marian Stiel (Olson). He is survived by: his wife Joan Stiel; his sister Judy Stiel; and his sisters-in-law, Virginia Otto (Allen) and Sue Dawson. He is also survived by numerous nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 9th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Holy Name Catholic Church (1104 S 9th Ave, Wausau, WI 54401). A funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, October 9th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
