With solemn reverence, we commemorate John A. Fitzgerald (Wausau, Wisconsin), whose life came to an end on December 28, 2024 at the age of 99, leaving behind cherished memories. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John B. and Gladys (Gagnon); and his siblings, Irene Olson, Mary Miller and Rockne.
He is survived by: his wife Debra Anklam; his brother Franklin; his children, John (Kim), Maureen, Sheila (Sandra Schmidt) and Paula (Dave); his grandchildren, Sean (Karen), Ryan (Hannah), Kellyanne (Mark Powers), Kristy (Ben), Kathleen, Caitlin (Jeremy), Maddy (Chandler), Derek (Jorie) and Claire; and his great grandchildren, Caleb, Reeve, Henry, Maisie, Zoe and Kora Rae. He is also survived by his siblings, and dear mother.
The COVID lockdown took so much from his busy life; this, coupled with an earlier Alzheimer's dementia diagnosis in 2019, meant his world grew smaller and more confusing.
