Joel M. Block Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Joel M. Block (Wausau, Wisconsin), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 5, 2024 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Myron Block and Grace Block (Lemke); his son Jason; and his brother-in-law Gary Zimmermann. He is survived by: his significant other Karen Block (Schaffer); his children, Jody Block (Heather), Jesse Block (Darcy) and Crystal Maola (Chad); his grandchildren, Maxwell, Carter Block, Devyn, Kylan, Kaden, Mayvn Block, Cache and Cora Maola; his stepson Brian Duntze (Jessica); his grandchildren, Jacob, Emily, Adam and Grace; and his siblings, Vern Block (Cathy), Glen Block, Karen Zimmermann and Jamie Nelson (Tom).
In lieu of flowers, the family encourages those who so desire to make a donation in Joel's memory to Orphan Grain Train, Tunnel to Towers, or American Heart Association.
