She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawrence Weber and Verna Weber (Schumacher) of Colby, Wisconsin.; her husband Robert Berndt (Bob); her brothers, Jerry and Jim; her son Joseph; and her children-in-law, Donald Tinjum and Pam Berndt.

She is survived by: her children, Sue Klos (Mike) of Michigan, Sharon Tinjum of Wausau, Laura Berndt of Wausau, Mike Berndt of Rothschild, Paul Berndt (Amy) of Kronenwetter, David Berndt of Wausau and Teresa Rihn (Jamie) of Phillips; her sister Mary Lou Steines (Denny) of Wausau; her sisters-in-law, Carol Weber-Massop (Rich) of Colby and Carol Weber of Turtle Lake; her grandchildren, Jojo Tinjum, Ashley Hoffman (John), Ben Klos, Kyle Tinjum, Stacey Berndt-Ort (Tony), Christine Berndt, Alex Klos, Max Klos, Zac Rihn (Toni), Isaac Berndt and Karl Rihn; and her great grandchildren, Curtiss Tinjum, Brianna Hoffman, Blake Hoffman and Luca Hoffman.

Visitation will be held on Friday, January 10th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Matthew Catholic Church (229 S 28th Ave, Wausau, WI 54401). A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, January 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.

Virginia (Weber) and Dan Peterson I am a cousin of Joanne and live in the Appleton, WI area, daughter of Joseph and Marie Weber (Lawrence's brother) I fondly remember time spent at their farm and the Holcombe cottage.”
