She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Dhein and Ellen Dhein (Raliegh); her husband Gerald Hornung; her daughter Diane; and her sisters, Shirley Kelm and Edith Steiner.
She is survived by: her children, James Hornung, Jean Lau (William), Thomas Hornung (Kim) and Patricia Norton (Glenn); and her grandchildren, Laura Marinelli, Melissa Hintz, Tammi Perkins, Sarah Melby, Billy Lau, Jennifer Hoeppner, Matthew Hornung, Stephanie Hornung, Dan Norton and Emily Plumb. She is also survived by great-great-grandchild due this summer; and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, January 27th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Holy Name Catholic Church (1104 S 9th Ave, Wausau, WI 54401). A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, January 27th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
