He is survived by: his pets, Collie and Rover; his wife Martha (Wausau); his sister Kathy Anne Franzen (Wausau); his children, Betsy Frisch (Brookfield), John Baumhardt (Marshfield), Tim Baumhardt (Richfield) and Susie Hafemann (Viroqua); his grandchildren, Josiah Winterhoff, Shaunna Steggall (Kylun), Timothy Baumhardt (TJ), Everett Frisch, Allison Hastreiter (Kylan), Sophia Griffin (Colin), Annaliese Frisch, Michael Baumhardt, Meghan Baumhardt, Joshua Baumhardt, Helena Lind (Trent) and Paul Baumhardt; and his great grandchildren, Kaiden, Garen, Zander, Callum, Clara, Allia, Luca, Adalee, Madison, Kira and Emery. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
