He was predeceased by: his parents, Daniel Markstrum and Lucile Markstrum (Eckes); his brother Peter Markstrum; and his siblings-in-law, Jon Scesniak and Terri Markstrum.
He is survived by: his siblings, Julie Markstrum Scesniak, Tim Markstrum, Paula Barnes (Richard) and Michele Pickerill; his nieces and nephews, Alex Barnes (Amy), Briley Pickerill and Molly Pickerill; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Aspen and Aurora Barnes; his uncle Jerry Eckes; and his friends, Chuck, Ellen and Tom Straub.
Visitation was held on Sunday, December 15th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Brainard Funeral Home- Everest Chapel (5712 Memorial Ct, Weston, WI 54476). A memorial service was held on Sunday, December 15th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the same location.
