She was predeceased by: her parents, Glenn Altenburg and Margaret Altenburg (Konieczko); her husband Claude F. Witzeling; her sisters, Janice Rindfleisch (Edward), Glenwyn Johnson (Martin) and Gail Arlen (Robert); and her grandson Joseph Witzeling.
She is survived by: her children, Brian Witzeling (Dawn), Diane Shockey (Neil) of Glendora, CA, Robert Witzeling and Weston; her grandchildren, Jason Witzeling (Ashley), Matthew Witzeling (Kelly Wachtl), Amanda Turner (Shockey) and Megan Arellano (Shockey); her great grandchildren, Addison Witzeling, Avery Witzeling and Charles Witzeling; and her sisters, Marjorie Geary, Peggy Kraklow, LaVonne Finck (Elmer) and Rita Bergstrom (Les). She is also survived by 33 nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to St. Matthew Catholic Church, Wausau.
