With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gertrude M. Johnson (Wausau, Wisconsin), born in Merrill, Wisconsin, who passed away on March 7, 2024 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer Leistikow and Elsie Leistikow; her son Larry Johnson; and her siblings, Lucille Raasch, June Roerick and Harlen Leistikow.
She is survived by: her husband David Johnson; her daughter Debra Thompson (Bob); her daughter-in-law Terri Johnson; her grandchildren, Mitchel Johnson (Mackenzie) and Madeline Smith (Brandon); her great grandchildren, Myles, Maizy Johnson and Lincoln Smith; and her sisters-in-law, Judy Leistikow, Vera Yinger and Carol Johnson. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
