With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gary R. McCartan Sr. (Wausau, Wisconsin), who passed away on January 17, 2025 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Anthony McCartan and Audrey McCartan (Kegal). He is survived by: his wife Susan (Keskey); his children, Amanda Ann, Gary Raymond Jr. and Michael James (Erin); his grandchildren, Madison, Jack, Adanna, Jadyn, Owen and Mila; his great grandchildren, Marley and Willow; and his siblings, Gayle Schmitz Zien (McCartan) and Thomas Scott McCartan (Dolly). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews; and grand-nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:30 PM at the Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home (1302 N 6th St, Wausau, WI 54403). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 3:30 PM at the same location.
