He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Ruechel and Anna Ruechel (Thyes); his wife Rosemary Ames; and his siblings, Elmer, Floyd, Fred, Adolph, Marvin, Vivian Ruechel and Mildred Wurster.
He is survived by: his children, Dianne Drew (Joseph), Dale Ruechel (Bonnie) and Joanne Ruechel; his grandsons, Michael Drew (Sarah), Christopher Drew (Nicole), Cole Ruechel (Hillary) and Clay Ruechel (Samantha); his great grandchildren, Ryan, Jackson, Ernest, Amelia, Harrison, Clara, Chloe and Maximus; and his siblings, Berden, Lillian Ruechel and Mabel Clemens.
