With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of DuWayne P. Bacon (Wausau, Wisconsin), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 17, 2025 at the age of 70. He was predeceased by: his parents, Cecil Bacon and Pauline Bacon (Barthel); and his siblings, Dale Bacon, Clifford Bacon and Patricia Bacon.
He is survived by: his children, Daniel Bacon, Douglas Bacon (Jason Brandt), Darin Bacon and Wausau (Donna Lynn Weiler); his grandchildren, Austin, Connor Bacon, Kyle Swiatnicki, Natasha and Alyssa Bacon; his siblings, Nancy Rohmeyer, Karen Simonson (Leonard), Frank Bacon, Jerry Bacon, David Bacon, Mark Bacon, Beverly (Donald Tessmer) and Linda Ohde; and his in-laws, Christine Bacon and Pamela Bacon. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home (3400 Stewart Ave, Wausau, WI 54401). A memorial service will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
