He was predeceased by: his parents, Willis Bevers and Elizabeth Bevers (Daily); and his siblings, Gerald Bevers (Joie), Dwayne Bevers (Carol), Phyllis DeBoer (Wilbert), Maynard Bevers, Virginia Bevers and Deloris Bevers.
He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Bevers (Woitte) of Wausau; his children, Morris Bevers (Kathy) of Longmont, CO, Kelly Murphy of Wausau and Timothy Bevers (Rebecca) of Plover; his grandchildren, Karen Anderson (Ben), Laura Bevers, Brianna Lucht (Peter), Karissa Murphy, Maxwell Bevers, William Bevers and Gwyneth Bevers; and his siblings, Evelyn Jones, Robert Bevers (Rita), Eugene Bevers (Dee) and Thomas Bevers (Carol). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, Donald's favorite charity was Trinity Lutheran Church and School.
