With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Donald A. Prochnow of Wausau, Wisconsin, born in Marathon, Wisconsin, who passed away on March 14, 2024 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Prochnow and Ella Prochnow (Bahr); and his brothers, Alfred and Franklin Prochnow. He is survived by: his wife Carol Prochnow; his children, Roger Prochnow (Helen) of Wausau and Ruthann Dahlke (Steven) of Marathon; and his grandchildren, Kevin, Joshua (Jessica), Scott (Elizabeth), Benjamin (Lauren), Rebecca and Christopher. He is also survived by 8 great granddaughters; and 1 great grandson.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. John's Lutheran Church.
