He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman Schlagenhaft and Dorothy Schlagenhaft (Pfahning); his wife Jean Moran; his siblings, Cyril Schlagenhaft, Joe Schlagenhaft, Doris Newman and Mary Kratcha; and his siblings-in-law, Janine Schlagenhaft, Rosie Schlagenhaft and Victor Newman.
He is survived by: his children, Kathryn Schlagenhaft, Cynthia Buckley (Gary), Duke Schlagenhaft (Jill) and Dan Schlagenhaft (Marcia); his grandchildren, Jacob Raab, Hollie Foley (Aaron), Tyler Buckley (Brie), Lily Buckley, Rosie Gerber (Ben), Mackenzie, Mason Schlagenhaft, Emma and Davis Schlagenhaft; his great grandchildren, Josie Buckley, Archie Gerber and Waylon Foley; his siblings, Rita Smithson (Jim), Jane Conrad (Mike) and Paul Schlagenhaft; his siblings-in-law, Mary Carol Schlagenhaft and Bob Kratcha; and his close friends, Mary Ludwig and Charles.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial in Charles' name will be established at a later date.
