We are sad to announce that on June 5, 2024, at the age of 56, Carrie Ann Butenhoff (Wausau, Wisconsin) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

As Carrie Ann departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Carrie Ann may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Carrie Ann leaves behind.

She was predeceased by : her father Larry Marten; and her former life partner Clint Butenhoff. She is survived by : her mother Shirley Marten; her daughter Ember Butenhoff; her grandchildren, Hope, Nova and Sage; her brother Chad; her niece Addison; and her close friend Todd Schuster.

Visitation was held on Monday, June 10th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. John Lutheran Church - Wausau (164923 Co Rd Z, Wausau, WI 54403). A funeral service was held on Monday, June 10th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the St. John Lutheran Church (164923 Co Rd Z, Wausau, WI 54403).
