It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Carol H. Prochnow of Wausau, Wisconsin, born in Marathon, Wisconsin, who passed away on June 19, 2024, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Rudolph Sr. Kolbe and Helen Kolbe (Moeck); her husband Donald Prochnow; and her brother Rudolph A. Kolbe, Jr.. She is survived by: her children, Roger Prochnow (Helen) of Wausau and Ruthann Dahlke (Steven) of Marathon; her grandchildren, Kevin, Joshua (Jessica), Scott (Elizabeth), Benjamin (Lauren), Rebecca and Christopher; and her sister Joyce Wendt of Merrill. She is also survived by 8 great granddaughters; and 1 great grandson.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. John's Lutheran Church.
