She was predeceased by: her parents, Leon Stefonek and Stephanie Stefonek; and her sister Barbara Stefonek. She is survived by: her husband Ralph Carden; her children, Stephen Carden (Tamara) and Emily Carden (Ying Her); her grandchild Brodie; her niece Stephanie Hauenstein; and her great-niece Rebel Young. She is also survived by other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in BJ's name may be made to either the American Cancer Society or the Marathon County Humane Society.
