He is survived by: his wife Sandra; his children, Randi Klos (Bryant), ReNae Nachman (Jobe) and Kirk Schmitt (Gigi Heinemann Schmitt); his grandchildren, Matt (Casie), Emilie (Andrew), Alex, Mike, Ryan, Reanna (Jordan), Olivia (Curtis), Blakney and Arabella; his great grandchildren, Julian, Silas and Ashtyn; his brother William; and his siblings-in-law, Richard Kniess (Debbie) and Cindy Kniess-Johnson (JJ).
