He was predeceased by: his parents, George Jr. Hiebl and Anna Hiebl (Krupka); his children, Steven Hiebl, Douglas Hiebl and Deanna Kapas; and his siblings, Delores Hackel, Lawrence Hiebl, Charles Hiebl and Joseph Hiebl.
He is survived by: his wife Marlene Duranceau; his children, Jean Crooks (Steve), Lori Becker (Arnee) and Merrill (Michael Hiebl); his children-in-law, Patty Hiebl and John Kapas of Maple Grove, MN; and his siblings, Agnes Paul (Glen), James Hiebl (Elaine) and Mary Hiebl (Lueder Finken). He is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Holy Name Catholic Church (1104 S 9th Ave, Wausau, WI 54401). A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. The military honors will be held on Wednesday, March 5th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Restlawn Memorial Park (235962 N Troy St, Wausau, WI 54403).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Holy Name Catholic Church.
