He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Wiese (Anne) and Margaret Dockery (Holbach); his brother Fred; and his in-laws, Gordon and Rachel Ruenger (Friese).
He is survived by: his siblings-in-law, Richard Ruenger (Jill) and Mary Gillett (Jim); his godchildren, Doug Rank, Jeff Ruenger, Chris Wiese, Nathan Gillett, Keith Baehler and Heidi Nitka; and his stepbrother Ken Nitka (Dee). He is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, and grand nieces and nephews.
