She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Kasper "Bud" and Dorothy Burts Smith; her former husband Gordon Smith; her husband James Whooley; her children, Waupun, Mark Smith (Dianne) of San Antonio, TX, Richard Smith of Oxnard, CA, Michael Whooley, Kathryn Howard (James) and Margaret Whooley (John Hokenson); her grandchildren, Gary Smith, Amy Smith, Richard Jr. Smith, Daniel Smith, Devon Whooley, Kiah Howard, Marcus Howard, Erin Howard, Ellen Bille, Joseph Bille, Betsy Bille, Hannah Hokenson, Holly Hokenson and Klara Hokenson; her brother Phil; and her daughter-in-law Julie. She was also cherished by several great-grandchildren.
