With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Ruth Immel Pluim of Waupun, Wisconsin, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Ruth Immel left this world on February 5, 2025 at the age of 87, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilbert Immel and Francis Seuer Immel; her husband Kenneth Pluim of Peter's Lutheran Church; her great grandchild Addysen TerBeest; her son-in-law Kirk Bloom; and her siblings, Alice Daley (James), Gladys Schmidt (John), Lorraine Goebel (Harold), Robert W. Immel (Donna), Melvin W. Immel (Nanci), Lawrence R. Immel (Rita) and David P. Immel (Gloria).
She is survived by: her children, Mike S. Pluim (Suzanne), Debra J. Bloom, Susie Vande Slunt (Mike) and Jeff Pluim (Rhonda); her grandchildren, Sadie Huffman (Luke), Kendra TerBeest (Bryan), Chad Pluim, Derek Navis, Jerica Landaal (Chris), Reid Vande Slunt and Cassidy Helms (Andy); and her great grandchildren, Auden, Beckhem, Dekker Landaal, Brysen, Wyatt, Jax TerBeest, Addilyn Pluim, Lucille, Charlotte and Harrison Huffman. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, February 9th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM and on Monday, February 10th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service was held on Monday, February 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Pella Lutheran Church (315 S Madison St, Waupun, WI 53963). A burial was held on Monday, February 10th 2025 at the Cattaraugus Cemetery (N2987 Frontage Rd, Waupun, WI 53963).
