She is survived by: her husband Dean Buteyn; her children, Lindsey Froechlich (Michael) and Drew Buteyn (Katia); her grandchildren, Jordan, Emmitt and Dax Dean Thomas; her sister Suzanne Shookman (Tim); and her siblings-in-law, Gregory Buteyn (Vivian), Marilea Navis, Jill Monroe (Dennis) and Sue Soodsma (Steve). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the family to be used to support individuals pursuing an education in healthcare.
