He is survived by: his mother Betty Vande Zande Bruins; his wife Debbie Primuth; his sons, Benjamin Bruins (Sarah), Dan Bruins (Ashley) and Peter Bruins (Susan Endres); his grandchildren, Jonah, Asher, Esther, Trey and Laney; his siblings, Doug Bruins (Paula), Sue Shulfer (Jim) and Lisa Semrow (Herb); his mother-in-law Donna Primuth; and his brother-in-law David Primuth (James Ueda). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
