He was predeceased by: his parents, Marvin Damsteegt and Maggie Boerson Damsteegt; and his sisters, Elise Lont, Bonnie Freriks and Norma.
He is survived by: his brothers, Mylin Damsteegt (Mary Joy), Eugene Damsteegt (Sharon) and David Damsteegt (Lori); and his brother-in-law Raymond Freriks. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Alto Reformed Church (N3697 Co Rd EE, Waupun, WI 53963). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at the Alto Cemetery (N3697 Co Rd EE, Waupun, WI 53963).
