She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Novy and Mary Novy (Jindrick); her siblings, Ernest Novy, Arthur Novy and Anna Novy; and her grandson Scott Smith.
She is survived by: her spouse Merrill; her sons, Steven Smith (Nancy) of Murrysville, PA, Richard Smith (Lori) of Waupun and Thomas Smith (Paula) of Menasha; and her brother Arnold Novy of Hillsboro. She is also survived by five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; and other relatives and friends.
Memorial contributions In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Union-Congregational Church in Waupun would be appreciated.
