He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew Navis and Hilda Kastein Navis; his former wife Bernice Hopp Navis of Alto; his grandson Gregory Navis; and his brother-in-law Wilfred Fiet.
He is survived by: his wife Victoria Bittner Navis; his children, Barbara Heidt (John), Gary Navis (Marlene), Byron Navis (Linda), Mary Kimble (Merwin) and Lisa Schwab (Matthew); his grandchildren, Michael Heidt (Cara), Kristi Danfield (Michael), Janell Dukish (David), Christopher Navis (Stacy), Andrew Navis (Kate), Ashley Weidman (Chris), Tate Kimble (Mackenzie), Claire Schwab and Jaden Schwab; his great grandchildren, Harrison, Brooks, Camden, Madelyne, William, Anabelle, Jonah, Dorian, Nash, Colt and Willa; his siblings, Dale Navis (Sigrid), Darryl Navis (Debbie) and Audrey Fiet; and his stepchildren, Roland Bittner (Carol), Debra Quandt (Jeffery) and Dale Bittner (Shelly). He is also survived by 8 step-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Bethel Church of Brandon (305 W Main St, Brandon, WI 53919). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at the Alto Cemetery (N3697 Co Rd EE, Waupun, WI 53963).
