With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mary Helen Schwandt of Waupun, Wisconsin, born in Sanborn, Iowa, who passed away on November 16, 2022 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Vegter and Elizabeth Vegter (Haarsma); her husband LeRoy Schwandt; her son Bill; her brothers, Wilbur, Harlan and Raymond Vegter; and her siblings-in-law, Clarence Schwandt, Lester Vosskuil, Patrick MacDonald and Delores Vossekuil.
She is survived by: her children, Robin Meyer of Rockford, IL, Terry Schwandt of Ripon, WI and Mike Schwandt of Waupun, WI.; her grandchildren, Tony Schwandt of Lone Rock, WI and Jayden Schwandt of Waupun, WI.; and her sisters-in-law, Arlene Vegter, Helen Vegter, Ruth-Ann Vegter and Edna Schwandt. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
