She was predeceased by: her parents, Floyd Towne and Verna Irwin Towne; her former husband Robert Rather; her husband Bert Guenther; her son James D. Rather; her siblings, Joyce Verette and Erwin Towne; her stepson Bryan "Chick" Guenther; and her stepgrandson Rick Guenther.
She is survived by: her daughter Linda J. Rather of Ripon; her daughter-in-law Felicia Rather of Columbus, OH; her stepsons, Robert Guenther (Sandie) of Colorado Springs, CO and Randy Guenther (Jill) of Waupun; her sister Carol J. Hennarichs of West Bend, WI; and her grandchildren, Isabelle and Derek Rather. She is also survived by seven step-grandchildren; seven step-great-grandchildren.
