She was predeceased by: her parents, Klass Meyer and Jenny DeJong Meyer; her husband Arnold Swart; her siblings, Joe, John Meyer, Anna Winger and Jeanette Roorda; and her half-siblings, Carl, William Meyer and Mary Thiel.
She is survived by: her children, Joann Abbring (Don) of De Motte, IN, Richard, Joe Swart of Cambria, WI and Jim Swart (Mary) of Wheatfield, IN; and her sister-in-law Ruth Swart of Florida. She is also survived by six grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
