He was predeceased by: his parents, Oliver Gedamke and Florence Gedamke (Boelter); his former wife Shirley MaryAnn Mahnke; his daughter Cheryl Gassen; and his brother Ronald Gedamke.
He is survived by: his wife Loretta Gedamke of Waupun; his daughters, Roberta Okon (Al) of Beaver Dam and Paula Justman (Marvin) of Iron Ridge; his stepchildren, Robert F. Hartwig (Lori) of Pleasant Prairie and Sandy Alvarado of Waupun; his grandchildren, Jenny White (Jason), Jason Schmidt (Jennifer), Amanda Newhouse and Anita Magilke; his stepgrandchildren, Sarah Limberg, Cassie Steffes (Steven), Danny Davis (Jessica), Meghan Klapper (Frank), Robert Hartwig, Jr. (Brandy) and Shayley Ceman; and his son-in-law Paul Gassen. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
