She was predeceased by: her parents, John Kolk and Johanna Vande Kolk (Van Beek); her husband Carl Quam; her brothers, Bernard Vande Kolk and Garrit Vande Kolk (Alice); her niece Linda Smedema; and her nephew Nick Vande Kolk.
She is survived by: her sister Jessie Smedema (Curt) of Waupun; and her nieces and nephews, Dennis Vande Kolk (Kathy), Barbara Levick (Ray), Ruth Gayor, Ronald Vande Kolk (Donna), Phil Smedema (Sue), Cindy Abel (Jay) and Ginger Trapp (Tom). She is also survived by cousins, other relatives and friends.
