He is survived by: his wife Rita Schears; his son Mike Schears (Martyna) of Fond; his siblings, Jermaine Schears (Rose) of Beaver Dam, Richard Schears of Beaver Dam, Milton Schears of Princeton, Wilbert Schears (Jean) of Waupun, Larry Schears (Charlotte) of Waupun and Joann Neumann (Jerrold) of Waupun; and his siblings-in-law, Dennis Linke of Fox Lake and Joanne Schears of Kansas. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews.
