Esther Jane Vant Hoff Obituary
We are sad to announce that on January 13, 2025, at the age of 87, Esther Jane Vant Hoff of Waupun, Wisconsin passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Kok and Anna Kok (Elgersma); her former husband Howard Vant Hoff; and her husband Newton Vander Woude. She is survived by: her children, John Vant Hoff (Kathy), LuAnn Reuter (John), Patti Van Denend (Tim) and Randy Vant Hoff (Gina); her grandchildren, Micah Vant Hoff (Laine), Seth Vant Hoff (Tessa), Nathan Vant Hoff (Lauren), Tessa Catalan (Luis), Samuel Vant Hoff, Jared Reuter (Jessica Mulder), Zachary Reuter (Sara), Cody Reuter, Carley Jahnke (Wes), Dylan Van Denend (Ricky), Anna Van Denend (Blake Carette), Austin Van Denend, Morgan Van Denend, Andrew Vant Hoff (Kaitlyn Schramer) and Madelynn Vant Hoff; her great grandchildren, Emmie, Teddy, Henry, Ezra, Lilly, Willa Vant Hoff, Zeke, Elena Catalan, Payton Reuter and Graham Jahnke; her sister Marlene Hughes; her close friends, Chuck and Kathy Schlieve; her brothers, Roger Kok (Joyce) and Seymour Kok (Junice); her brother-in-law Donald Hughes; and her in-laws, Marvin Vant Hoff (Tillie), Ellsworth Vant Hoff, Junice Sjoerdsma (Joe), Lucille Kloostra (Ed) and Bertha Ter Beest (Roy). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 20th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the Emmanuel Waupun Church (400 W Brown St, Waupun, WI 53963). A celebration of life was held on Monday, January 20th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the same location.
