She was predeceased by: her parents, Dick Kok and Eike Beukema Kok; her husband Henry Smit; her son Brian Smit; her sons-in-law, Frank Hartmann and Bryce Clark; her great grandchild Cyrus Clark; and her siblings, Catherine Glewen (Charles), Martha Hopp (James), Theodore Kok (Joan), Harold Kok (Janet), Charles Kok (Bernice) and Harvey Kok.
She is survived by: her daughters, Roxanne Smit, Beverly Hartmann, Patricia Clark and Christal Smit; her daughter-in-law Elizabeth Smit (Ward); her grandchildren, Becky Woppert (Andy), Michael Clark, Michelle Clark (Joseph Lau), Melissa Clark (Stephen Pierce), Eric Smit (Chelsea), Amanda Smit, Jo Beth Wellhouse, Janessa Leusink (Kyle), Jacinda Trauernicht (Austin) and Ethan Wellhouse; and her sister-in-law Laverne Kok. She is also survived by eleven great-grandchildren.
