She was predeceased by: her parents, Alexander Bender and Anna Bender (Ramig); her husband Frank Peterson; her son Martin Wayne Peterson; her siblings, Marie Stahla, Ella Gosse, Ruth Moore, Betty Jane, Frederick Bender (Lorraine), Robert Bender, Herman Bender, Alexander Bender, Gottlieb "Bud" and Benjamin Bender; her sisters-in-law, Marjorie Schneider, Shirley Ekes and Diane LaHaye; and her stepbrother Clifford Teletzke.
She is survived by: her son Kenneth Peterson of Waupun; her grandchildren, Dylan Peterson of Waupun and Stephanie Peterson (Lac) of Fond; her brother Samuel Bender (Sharon) of Taycheedah; and her siblings-in-law, Marlene Teletzke of Waupun and Jim Schneiter of Horicon.
