He was predeceased by: his parents, Harley and Hazel; his brothers, Roy and Harvard; and his parents-in-law, James and Henrietta Schouten.
He is survived by: his wife Pat; his sons, Dan Vande Zande (Patsy) of Brookfield, Randy Vande Zande of Waupun and Todd Vande Zande (Tiffany) of Pewaukee; his grandchildren, Corinne Grinwald (Nathan) of Plymouth, Corey Vande Zande (Alyssa) of Oconomowoc, Riah Vande Zande of Milwaukee and Brynn Vande Zande of Milwaukee; his great grandchildren, Ruby, Ellie and Peyton; and his siblings, Beverly Kowalski of Waupun and Ronald Vande Zande (Jean) of Waupun. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and close friends.
