He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Johnson and Clara Johnson (Holt); his wife Barbara Johnson; and his siblings, Clyde (Lois), Carl Johnson (Charlotte), Elaine Hiibel, Audry Johnson, Beverly Castaldo, Margaret Sjoblom, Marlys Luoma (Arne) and Carol DeTarville (Ken).
He is survived by: his children, Mark Johnson (Brenda) of Fond du Lac, Darlene Schmid (Rick) of Mukwonago and Laura Schelter (Duie) of Waupun; his grandchildren, Erik Johnson (Amanda), Andrea Peebles (Matthew), Curt Schmid (Melissa), Tyler Schmid (Ashley Denhard), Morgan Jesko (Jacob), Derrick Schelter and Brianna Schelter (Cameron Pokorny); his great grandchildren, Carter, Everett, Allison Johnson, Ezra Peebles, Clara, Caden Schmid and Emma Jesko; and his siblings-in-law, Ron Fischer of Ashland and Doris Innis (Earl) of Two Harbors. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
