He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Baney and Dorothea Baney (McIver); and his brothers, Donald and Dale Baney. He is survived by: his wife Sherrie Baney of Waupun; his daughter Lori Lynn Brickl of Waupun; his siblings, Frances DiSalvo, Deborah Dodge (David), Rebecca Chapman (David), Kenneth Baney (Janis), Dean Baney of Beaver Dam, WI and Eldon Baney; his siblings-in-law, Connie Baney, Dawn Hasse (Robert), Shane Anderson (Elizabeth), Christopher Anderson and Savannah Pesek (Josh); and his parents-in-law, Diana Anderson of Baraboo, WI and Jimmy McMinn. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
