It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Daane of Waupun, Wisconsin, who passed away on April 13, 2024, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Clayton Bruins and Marion Bossenbroek Bruins; and her brother Calvin Bruins. She is survived by: her husband Larry Daane of Waupun; her children, Steve Daane (Torie) of Neshkoro, Matt McDowell (Tracy) of Waupun, Michelle Daane of Minnesota and Angel Smit (Cory) of Brandon; her grandchildren, Trevor Daane, Mitch Daane (Merri), Brant McDowell (Taylor), Brady McDowell, Kanon Smit and Rhyer Smit; her great grandchildren, Brooklynn Daane, Zane McDowell, Knox McDowell and Kaiden Daane; her siblings, Gail Wetzel (Dick), Bill Bruins (Mary) and Helene Daane (Ron); and her sisters-in-law, MaryAnn Smit (Floyd) and Bonnie Bruins. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
