He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Guenther and Eva Schultz Guenther; his former wife Esther Guenther; his son Brian "Chick" Guenther; his siblings, Viola Kutzke and Truman Guenther; and his grandson Rick Guenther.
He is survived by: his former wife Esther Krieser; his wife Margene Guenther of Waupun; his sons, Robert Guenther (Sandie) of Colorado Springs, CO and Randy Guenther (Jill) of Waupun; his stepchildren, Linda J. Rather of Ripon and James D. Rather (Felicia) of Columbus, OH; his grandchildren, Carrie Curry, Kristin Guenther, Andrew Guenther, Alison Thompson, Brad Guenther and Katie Sanders; and his stepgrandchildren, Isabelle Rather and Derek Rather. He is also survived by ten great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
