She is survived by: her children, Karen Tinklenberg (Gary), James DeVries (Linda), Mark DeVries and Karl DeVries (Elizabeth); her brother Curtis Smedema (Jessie); and her sisters-in-law, Norma Smedema and Phyllis Smedema. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
