Ann Hoekstra Obituary
With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Ann Hoekstra (Waupun, Wisconsin), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. The passing of Ann leaves a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Braaksma and Bessie Braaksma (Vander Galien); her in-laws, Alvina and William C. Hoekstra; her brother Albert Braaksma; her sisters-in-law, Elaine Braaksma and Evelyn Braaksma; and her nephew Larry Bossenbroek.
She is survived by: her husband Bill; her son Gregory Hoekstra (Stacey) of Menasha; her grandchildren, Gideon (Laura) and Madeline Hoekstra; her children, Gretchen Hoekstra, Heather Hoekstra of Waupun and Alex Hoekstra (Laura) of Waupun; her grandchildren, Mackenzie and Brock Hoekstra; her sister-in-law Barb Hoekstra; her siblings, Wanda Bossenbroek and Sam Braaksma; and her brother-in-law Byron Hoekstra (Pat). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 29th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, November 30th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 30th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the First Christian Reformed Church (20 Bly St, Waupun, WI 53963). A burial was held on Saturday, November 30th 2024 at the Forest Mound Cemetery (225 E Spring St, Waupun, WI 53963).
In her honor, donations will be directed to Beautiful Response (https://beautifulresponse.org) (providing education and basic needs to orphans and vulnerable children in Uganda) and the St. Vincent de Paul local Waupun emergency assistance program.
