She was predeceased by: her parents, William Schueler and Elda Schueler (Henke); and her husband Ronald Smerling. She is survived by: her children, Kevin Smerling of Oshkosh, Kristine Stegner (Dean) of Beaver Dam and Krandell Smerling of Beaver Dam; and her granddaughters, Carol and Sarah. She is also survived by twelve great grandchildren.
