With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Sven Fritjof Carlson of Waupaca, Wisconsin, born in Scandinavia, Wisconsin, who passed away on February 13, 2024 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Carlson and Louise Carlson; his siblings, Elias Carlson (Gerri), Clara Gunderson (Gunder), Franklin Carlson (Thordis) and Arne Carlson (Ada); and his daughter-in-law Judy Carlson.

He is survived by: his children, Diane Stiebs (Jim), Christy Hill (Arthur), Jeff Carlson and Terri Pomerenke (Rick); his grandchildren, Jamie Storm, Jon Stiebs (Miranda), Amanda Kealiher, Gregory Hill (Rachel), Andrew Hill (Emma), Ryan Hill (Anna), Jenny Carlson, Jason Carlson (Teresa) and Jackie Carlson; and his great grandchildren, Norah, Alex, Brody, Talon, Kaleb, Evelynn, Oliver, Teddy, Jack, Parker and Warren. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
