She is survived by: her children, Dan Chapman (Brian) of Chicago, IL, Amy Spindler (Ben) of New London, WI and Jeff Chapman (Lisa) of LaCrosse, WI; her grandchildren, Samuel, Isla and Finley of LaCrosse, WI.; and her sister Sylvia Kowall (Joanne Robbins) of Cocoa, FL.
A memorial fund has been established for the Macular Degeneration Association.
