He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Galetka and Agnes Galetka Sr. (Babiar); and his siblings, Steve, Louie Jr., Charles Sr., Helen Hartman, Anna McGinnis, Emily Roth and Mary Bennett.
He is survived by: his wife Janet; his children, Paul Galetka (Joanne) of Wisconsin Rapids, David Galetka of Hudson, Lori Galetka of Ashland, Jill Trzebiatowski (Gary) of Stevens Point, Janelle Padgett of Warrenton, VA and Christine Fels of Ocala, Florida; his granddaughters, Alexandria "Ali" Thornton (Christopher) of Madison, Emily Scheidegger, Molly Thuot (Andy) and Annie Scheidegger; his great grandchildren, Avery Thuot, Charlotte Thuot and Cecilia Zeroth; and his sister-in-law Lois Galetka. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
