He was predeceased by: his great-grandparents, Howard, Bernice Baumgart, Joseph Berrens, Clifford, Marie Hansen and Arden Schmoldt; and his cousins, Annie Hansen, Scott and Blake Radtke.
He is survived by: his parents, Justin Berrens and Kristy Berrens (Schmoldt); his siblings, Landen, Lainey, Porter and Violet Berrens; his grandparents, Jeffry, Jackie Berrens, Tom and Patti Schmoldt; his great-grandparents, Beatrice Berrens and Betty Schmoldt; his cousins, Tina Wagner (Jake), Brandon Schmoldt (Josey), Jennifer Ryan (Rick) and Jeff Berrens (Nicole); his pets, Daisy, Dutch and Zoey; and also, John Hopfensperger, Bridget, Josh, Gianna, Caleb, Ella, Maria, Owen, Ryan, Tessa, Jordy, Lauren, Braeden, Caitlin, James, Jason Berrens (Ashley), Jayson "Butters" and Brooklyn. He is also survived by great-aunts and uncles, other relatives and many, many friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, April 3rd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, April 4th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service was held on Friday, April 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Paul Ev. Lutheran Church (107 Tustin Rd, Fremont, WI 54940). Pastor Mark Drengler will officiate. (Due to construction on Tustin Rd., please use Lind Street to enter the church parking lot).
In lieu of flowers a memorial fund is being established in memory of Leif.
